A Giveaway and a Recipe: Ginger Hemp & Brown Buttery Cereal Treats

Ginger Hemp & Brown Buttery Cereal Treats


½ c. salted butter or vegan buttery sticks, like Earth Balance

5 c. Dandies mini marshmallows

1 t. ground ginger

3 c. brown crisp rice cereal

3 c. Michele’s Ginger Hemp granola


  • Lightly grease an 8” square baking dish
  • Brown the butter: In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and bring to a slow boil, swirling around constantly for 5-10 minutes to brown gently and prevent burning
  • Measure marshmallows into large saucepan (big enough to hold marshmallows and all 6c. of cereal!)
  • Pour brown butter over the marshmallows, add ground ginger, and stir mixture over medium low heat until the marshmallows are melted completely
  • Remove pan from heat and stir in the rice cereal and granola until the cereal is evenly coated
  • Press the mixture firmly and evenly into baking pan
  • Allow to cool and cut into squares
