Limited Edition Banana Bread Granola

Very disappointing. Couldn’t eat the banana chips. They were too hard. And would have broken my teeth.

I put off writing this review until I had a chance to decide how I felt about the bananas. As a local customer who’s been purchasing your granola since the very beginning, writing a review with anything less than 5 stars just felt wrong. And the fact is, I loved the granola itself. And the Spicewalla is out of this world delicious…I really loved the flavor profile. I wanted to love the bananas too...but was conflicted at first. It’s not that I disliked them, in fact, once I got used to the texture I found myself enjoying the chewiness. I think I was just expecting a crisp texture…so the chewiness took me off guard. But, honestly, as I’m writing this and thinking more about it, we don’t expect raisins or dates or cranberries in granola to be crisp. Of course not, we know that dried fruit is chewy. And to be fair, in the description it does say “real, chewy dried bananas.” Okay, now I’ve decided 5 stars it is …and I’m ordering another bag right now 😍. Thanks for challenging our palates to appreciate new and exciting flavors and textures!

I honestly don’t get the negative reviews. The spicewalla cinnamon and green cardamom give this granola a really great flavor profile. I know there are a lot of complaints about the banana pieces but they’re really not that hard in my opinion. I’d just urge people not to store it in a cool place and eat it cold bc they will be much harder. Other than that this is definitely in my top 3 flavors. Wish this could be on the regular lineup

I wanna start off by saying I’m a huge Michele’s fan. And that is why I’m writing this review. The granola flavor 10/10 but how did those hard chewy bananas make it in there? I tried multiple bites to enjoy them but I just couldn’t. Texture is all wrong. Just take the bananas out. Way too hard and chewy.

The flavor of the granola is great but the dried banana pieces don’t work. They are a weird texture, not soft or fully crispy, and almost impossible to chew without fear of breaking a tooth! Love Michele’s though.
