Customer and industry accolades inspire granola brand to add seasonal flavor to year-round lineup
Timonium, Maryland (September 10, 2019) – In response to major industry recognition and customer demand, Baltimore-based granola company Michele’s Granola is adding its spring seasonal Lemon Pistachio granola to its year-round lineup. Michele’s Lemon Pistachio Granola won the Specialty Food Association’s bronze sofi™ award in spring 2019 and is a finalist for the 2019 Natural Products Expo East NEXTY award, the winner of which will be announced September 12.
Founder and owner Michele Tsucalas says, “Our traditional handmade process and a decidedly unconventional tangy flavor derived from natural ingredients really differentiate Lemon Pistachio from other products on the market. Since we debuted it as our spring flavor in 2014, customers have appealed to us to bake it year-round, and with such wonderful recent industry recognition, we decided this is the year to add this flavor to our year-round lineup.”
Michele and her team will offer sample of Michele’s Lemon Pistachio at Booth #220 at the Natural Products Expo East at the Baltimore Convention Center from September 12-14, where more than 1,900 natural food, beverage, supplement and personal care brands will also be exhibiting.
At Expo East, the company will also debut a refreshed label for its full line, with fresh bright hues and new hand-drawn elements better representing the company’s handmade, small batch products. Michele’s Granola is distributed nationwide and available online and on Amazon.
